Hiawatha Cheer Club Fund

Specific Need

Our club runs on donations for extra items such as spirit signs, mats for safety, and additional fees that we do not wish to pass to families. But we do more than cheer on the sidelines. Our Club also does fun things for the 5th and 6th-grade football team and spectators, increasing spirit. We also learn a choreographed routine and perform in front of hundreds and sometimes thousands of spectators. As a result, the athletes gain this confidence they will carry on later in life! We also encourage younger athletes to come down and cheer with us to boost their confidence and have fun during the games. We know these littles look up to us, so we include them when possible!

Mission

The club aims to provide a safe and uplifting environment for middle-school-aged athletes and introduce them to the sport of cheer.

Profile

In order to improve and expand our organization's reach, our goal for 2024 is to fundraise not only for competition fees, but also for additional safety equipment. This will not only allow us to participate in more events, but also ensure the safety of our members while doing so. With these resources in hand, we can continue to grow and positively impact our community.
